Kekendo Africa Poly’s to brass threaded male adaptors are a fully pressure rated way of adapting from female threaded fittings, flanges, or equipment to HDPE/PE100/Poly Pipe and fittings.
The male brass taper thread gives a very reliable seal that is manufactured from DZR brass – a process that removes metallic impurities from brass. Brass threads are the first choice for 99% of plumbers and are also the best performers for potable water systems.
The elongated spigot will work with any fusion fitting and the brass thread has a hex section for easy grip and controlled tightening.
During manufacture the outside of the Brass is grooved so that when it is injection moulded in PE100 the two materials are permanently locked together and pressure rated to PN 16 bar 1600kpa for water and liquids, and 5 bar/500kpa for gas.
The complete range of Kekendo Africa Poly threaded fittings includes fittings from 20mm x 15mm/ ½ right up to very large 100mm BSP threads, which to date have not been available to the industry. This includes 75mm x 2 ½”, 90mm x 3i”, 110mm x 4” and the massive 125 x 4”.
These thread adaptors are the best and most suitable threaded fitting for above ground water reticulation and underground water, gas and fire systems.
